John Merritt married Abigail Jerrow [Gerow], 28 April 1803.
The Anglican minister from Gagetown traveled up and down the St John River, performing weddings, funerals and baptisms, so they may or may not have been actually married in Gagetown.
John Merritt, baptized 7/8/1792 in Queens, NB, married Abigail Gerow [born 1784].

Merritt, John – Parish of Greenwich, Kings County, will dated 7/4/1830. Proved 9/4/1830.
Oldest daughter Sharlotte Mary Jones 20 shillings, second daughter Hannah Merritt 25 pounds in livestock or household furniture, to be paid at her marriage. Wife Abigail Merritt all real and personal estate ‘until the time of her marriage or death’. On wife’s death estate to be divided among Caleb Merritt, John P Merritt and Stephen Merritt, my sons. John van Wart, farmer, my wife, Abigail Merritt; and my son Caleb Merritt- ‘my sole executors’. [Charlotte typed wrong by Peter or is that what was on records?]
